I about spit my Lay's and Dr. P all over the kitchen when I saw a picture of one of my former middle school students posted on the news. For SHOOTING at someone (luckily, his aim was as bad as his grammar, so no one was injured). Couple that with the fact that another former student took her own life a year ago as a result of drug abuse, and I think it's safe to assume the world of education isn't necessarily hurting from my absence.
Seriously? Nothing short of losing my own children leaves me quite as heartbroken...

I know what you mean - on of the boys came from our town too. My oldest went to shcool with the brother.
